Mistička dřevem pálená

Tato miska vznikla při dřevovýpalu v Toulcově dvoře. Jednalo se o jednožár, což znamená, že výrobek neprošel prvním výpalem, tzv. přežahem, ale šel do pece rovnou na ostrý výpal. Dovnitř byla aplikována světlá šlemovka, která přetéká až ven, zbytek misky je neglazován.

Teplota v peci dosáhla asi 1450°C.

This bowl was created during wood firing in Toulcův dvůr. It was a single fire, which means that the product did not go through the first firing, the so-called pre-firing, but went straight into the kiln for live firing. Light slimestone was applied inside, which overflows all the way out, the rest of the bowl is unglazed.

The temperature in the furnace reached about 1450°C.
